- My patterns and books for babies, toddlers, children and adults are generic, with yardage in both English and metric. My silhouettes are unique and generous, using the best natural fiber yarns available. I also have a line of superfine superwash merino, Jil Eaton MinnowMerino, with a micron count one point away from cashmere. MinnowMerino is available in 26 of my gorgeous signature saturated colors. Jil Eaton CottonTail is an elegant cabled 100% cotton yarn from Italy, in another array of beautiful colors. Both yarns are machine washable. I design two collections of MinnowKnits pattern separates annually, usually in my trademark QuickKnits, as well as designing for Vogue Knitting, Interweave Knits and KnitSimple. My patterns and books and yarns are available throughout the US and Canada is fine yarn shops. I write a feature column, “Ask Jil” in KnitSimple magazine, published by Vogue Knitting. My tenth book, Jil Eaton Knitting School, the complete guide to becoming a confident knitter, is in stores now.
